After years of rumors, it appears that Ghostbuster 3 is finally moving forward and will likely do so with or without Bill Murray’s involvement. Dan Aykroyd appeared on The Dennis Miller Show to discuss the project, dropping specific details about the sequel, hinting that the plan is to film in Spring of 2012 no matter what happens casting-wise.
Said Arnold: “Our first concern was for the welfare of what we suspected was an owl and we opened up the window to check if it was still around. Fortunately, there was no sign of the bird and we can only assume that it had flown away probably suffering from a headache.”
According to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, some of the tawny owl’s “powder down” — a substance that protects growing feathers — rubbed off on the window, leaving behind a uniquely well-defined silhouette.
So the Doctor Who christmas special was rather awful. It was nice to see Matt Smith as the doctor again but the script borrowed too much from a christmas carol and well was just down right boring.
It also showed how awfully lame and lazy allowing the ability to time travel can be for a narrative. I mean how complex can a puzzle be that causes an enjoyable ammount of tension, when you can just go back in time and make sure it didn’t happen. This same problem was what started making misfits boring for me, as when they all fucked up over the period of the episode the superhero with the time travel ability would just turn back time and erase the mistake. This flawed plot device effectively erases the narrative of the episode and the progression or death of certain the characters from ever happening in the continuity of the whole series.
